Global Tourism Plastics Initiative
In the framework of the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative, Eighth Wave commits to:
- Recommending their vendors and partners to join the GTPI as a part of their revamped sustainable vendor contracting effort.
- Creating a new vendor contract for all their stakeholders within one year. This will encompass not just environmental sustainability, but also child safety, fair labour practices, animal welfare and cultural heritage sensitivity.
- Communicating any successes via a combination of blog posts and social media posts, as well as updates on their website.
